The DECREE of the Moscow Government ¹ 466 - ÐÏ dated April 09 2002 "On preparation and holding of the International Drag Racing Competitions in Moscow in 2004"

Aiming at the assistance and development of unconventional kinds of sports we support the proposal of the Russian Drag Racing Association to hold the International Drag Racing Competitions in the year of 2004. The founders and organizers are the Independent Noncommercial Organization Russian Drag racing Club and the Fund of Support of the Social and Cultural Development of Moscow "Capital".

To the following in order to prepare and hold the International Drag Racing Competitions at a high organizational level:

1. To hold the international competitions in the third quarter of the year 2004.
2. To ratify the structure of the Organizing Committee on International competitions on drag racing in Moscow preparation and holding in 2004 (see the attachment).
3. To take into account the fact that the competitions will be held at the expense of organizers and sponsors.
4. The organizers of the competitions must develop and make the proposals regarding the place for the competitions in the III quarter of 2002.
5. The Physical Training and Sports Committee of the Moscow Government must assist the organizers in preparation and holding of the competitions.
6. The Telecommunication and Mass Media Committee of the Moscow Government must assist the organizers in broadcasting and outlining of the competitions in mass media.
7. The Foreign Trade Committee of the Moscow Government must assist the organizers in case of any application for accommodations of foreign participants, officials, judges and technicians in the city hotels in amount of 120 people with discounts in payment for accommodations.
8. To assign Mr. Kemer B. Norkin, the Head of the Analytical Department of the Moscow Mayor, with the control over the performance of this Decree.
